Laura is originally from Scotland and moved to New Zealand at a young age, so it’s fair to say she has truly settled into the Kiwi way of life. With over 9 years of recruitment experience, Laura has always maintained a focus on both client relationship management, as well as, candidate talent mapping. With all that experience, she has now progressed into a management role here at Consult, while also still account managing recruitment processes end to end.
Laura’s experience stretches far and wide, having successfully managed and developed enterprise customers across various industries, including utilities, insurance, software product and professional services. She recruits for contract and permanent resources with a passion for project delivery and hard-to-fill technical positions. Laura is a recruitment wiz, having helped clients build out entire squads, including BAs, Developers and Testers, to achieve high-profile initiatives (there is no task too big!).
With Monday to Friday being super fast-paced, where no one day is the same, weekends tend to be much slower for Laura (which is just how she likes it). Outside recruitment, you’ll find her spending time with family and her little West Highland Terrier Mackie, walking one of West Auckland’s beaches or enjoying a good glass of wine with some great food.
