Oliver (or Oli to us all given we already have two Olivia’s and it’s just getting ridiculous) started out his career in the Royal Air Force as Military Police. He developed a keen nose for interviewing people during this time but decided his skills were better used for the greater good in the world of agency recruitment…and the rest they say, is history.

Oli has spent over 14 years specialising in Accountancy and Finance recruitment across the UK, Australia and New Zealand leading teams within multinationals, boutiques and start-ups. Oli is now also focused within Consult on leading our recruitment teams to awesomeness.

He was born in London, grew up in Norfolk (lots of Cider apparently which accounts for our depleted fridge stock) and has now chosen Auckland as his home.

When he isn’t placing great people with some of our favourite clients, Oli can be found watching any UFC event (spectator, not participator – though that would be something!!), walking his dogs (2 chihuahuas Rocky and Poppy!) and trying out pretty much every Pinot Gris New Zealand has to offer (that will keep him busy).

Alongside Oli’s people leadership role he leads lots of our leadership recruitment offering and has supported a large number of New Zealand businesses with their CFO, COO and senior finance hires. People and relationships is what gets Oli out of bed (plus his little one jumping on him).
